I guess this is the only way for Windows to not recognize it as a phone call and disable all. The day before I was only using the computer for internet (and didn't go on any sites that are likely to have given a virus), and then the next day the sound is out. However, the mic on your bluetooth device is not going to work. Youtube works on Chrome but not Internet Explorer or Firefox (I use Firefox). I'm not having the problem with other websites' videos. The video sputters for a few seconds before this comes up. I did a system restore, but that didn't work either.Īlso, I'm not sure if this is related but Youtube isn't working for me. I don't know if this is useful information or not. They all say "This device is working properly". I right-clicked on all these devices and brought up Properties. I've also tried disabling and re-enabling "High Definition Audio Controller" as well as all the things that say "NVIDA High Definition Audio (these are all visible in the above image). I've gone to Device Manager and everything is enabled. Also, you can right-click the tab and click Unmute Tab or select the tab and press Ctrl +M. Look for a speaker icon next to the tab’s name and click it. The little volume icon has an "X" next to it and if clicked, this comes up. There’s a chance Edge has no sound because you accidentally mute the tab playing audio.
